Our Team

The PHASTAR Community Paramedicine program was developed and managed as a pilot paramedicine program in Northeast Ohio.   This effort was lead by PHASTAR President Drew Ferguson:

D. Andrew Ferguson, BS, MPH, EMT – Mr. Ferguson holds a Bachelor of Science in aeronautical science; a Masters of Public Health with a graduate certificate in emergency and disaster management; is a certified firefighter, EMT, and rescue technician; an airline transport pilot; and certified flight instructor.  He is currently the president of PHASTAR, a non-profit aviation corporation born out of a vision to improve the quality of public health, education, and safety services.  He previously served as aviation manager for the MetroHealth Metro Life Flight program where he was responsible for the strategic planning and vision of aviation operations.
