D. Andrew Ferguson, BS, MPH, EMT – Mr. Ferguson holds a Bachelor of Science in aeronautical science; a Masters of Public Health with a graduate certificate in emergency and disaster management; is a certified firefighter, EMT, and rescue technician; an airline transport pilot; and certified flight instructor. He is currently the president of PHASTAR, a non-profit aviation corporation born out of a vision to improve the quality of public health, education, and safety services. He previously served as aviation manager for the MetroHealth Metro Life Flight program where he was responsible for the strategic planning and vision of aviation operations.
Bess Vrettos – Ms. Vrettos has been a leader in the community in the fields of geriatrics, mental health, and program development. She is currently the Director of Program Development & Public Relations at PHASTAR Corporation. She is the former Director of Special Services in Division of Geriatrics at Western Reserve Psychiatric Center. She has extensive experience in serving high-risk adult populations at the Westside Community Mental Health Center as a member of the treatment team that assisted in the overall program design and implementation of a psycho-social rehabilitation unit based on a holistic therapeutic community concept. Ms. Vrettos’ past civic involvement included President of the Tremont Civic Association, Chair of the Area Drug Abuse Program, founding member of Cleveland Children First, and board member of Senior Nutrition Board and Council of Economic Opportunity.
Ann Marie Donegan, BA, RN – Ms. Donegan holds a Bachelor of Arts, a nursing diploma, and an active RN license in the state of Ohio. She has 25 years of healthcare/managed care experience and was directly involved in strategic planning, development, and implementation of provider networks for various organizations including Travelers, United HealthCare, and HealthStar. She is currently a principal at AMD Consulting Services, providing the healthcare and managed care industry with the focused, hands-on support needed to take private and public service companies and organizations from where they are to where they want to be. She also served as Mayor of the City of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, from 2014-2017. Extensive experience running operations and all aspects of service delivery.
Jonathan Corrigan, MPAS, DHSc, PA-C – Dr. Corrigan has been a certified physician assistant for over a decade in the specialties of emergency medicine/urgent care, acute care, psychiatry, and orthopedics. He holds a doctorate degree in health science with a focus in healthcare administration and leadership and a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies with a specialization in emergency medicine. He currently works in orthopedics and has held various positions in healthcare administration including assistant medical director and lead of recruitment. He is a strong advocate for healthcare quality, patient safety, and access to healthcare.
J. Michael Koch, MD, FACC – Dr. Koch is a graduate of The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation over three decades ago. He is fellowship trained and board-certified in cardiology. Dr. Koch has a long-established relationship in the community with Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and St. Vincent Charity. He is a certified patient safety officer and has held multiple institutional appointments on patient care, ethics, and quality committees. He is the current Director of Cardiology at Euclid Hospital and has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals of medicine.
